Lufft’s WS200-UMB Smart Weather Sensor for measuring of wind direction and wind speed uses ultrasonic sensor technology to take wind measurements. The German Engineered ultrasonic wind sensor is designed without mechanical parts – traditionally known as “cups and vane”, offering precise and maintenance free measurement. Measurement output can be accessed by the following protocols: UMB-Binary, UMB-ASCII, SDI-12, MODBUS. One external temperature or rain sensor is connectable.
